ICR was composed by a controller and connector. It offers a conveniently available source to charge the service battery, with which you can utilize the spare energy of alternator during engine running and reduce the service battery sizing board.

No voltage loss: Designed with a microprocessor controlled contactor, IRD is an ideal replacement for Diode type battery isolator.

Priotizing the starter battery:

Upon starter battery reach 13.6V/27.2VCD with threshold time delay, the relay will
Close to charge service from the alternator
Upon ignition went off, it will disconnect the charging of service battery
While engine running, it will disconnect the charging upon battery voltage drop under 12.6VDC/25.2VDC for 2secs.
Emergency Start: additional switch can be added to achieve "Assist Start" function.
The Contractor will engage momentarily using service battery to assist the engine start.

Charging starter battery

Upon a shore charger was connected on service battery and voltage reach 13.6V/27.2VDC with threshold time delay, the relay will close to charge starter battery meantime.
IP68 suitable for vehicle installation requirement.
